Really suspenseful game! It starts off with just wondering and waiting to see what's gonna happen, and then it slowly builds up! Did not see the ending coming! Great job!

Simple and really well executed. The sound design, graphics and the simplicity makes it a really enjoyable experience.

It really made me anxious playing it (in a good way!)

Excited to see future content!
Cheers.

This game was very simple, yet fun!

The jumps are should NOT have gotten me as well as it did lol!

Loved your reaction at the end :) thanks for playing!

One of the best Web horror games on itch.io

You’re making us blush! Thank you, glad you liked it.

WTF THAT ACTUALLY GAVE ME A JUMPSCARE

i loved it. got a real sense of dread after the third stop where the creature first appeared in my runthrough (idk why it took that long for me given others found him quicker, oh well) and then the second time he appeared he was so close to the door … and then it became roulette of closing the door as he kept advancing until the end. where it was a blocked floor.

and then i kept trying to close, until it hit me. then jumpscare.

really, REALLY GOOD.

Thank you, your positive feedback means the world to us!

(+1)

of course! It's a well made games that deserves more attention. I’ve always had a fondness for simple yet effective horror and it’s amazingly executed here. Doesn’t hammer in jumpscares nor does it sacrifice building tensions to speed up the tiny runtime.

(+1)

i didnt expect the jumpscare for some reason and I pulled a Tyler1 (his famous scream)

We can picture that haha thanks for playing!

(+2)

almost got a heart attack

Sorry about that! :D

(+1)

That was really cute :D the sounddesign was nice, especially the footstep ones.

Thank you, glad you liked it!

(+2)

reminded me of the old elevator source game this was cool nice work :)

(+1)

There was definitely some inspiration taken from there :) thank you for playing!

(+2)

My headcanon is that the void guy is not evil. The player just keeps closing the door on the void guy, making him have to run up the stairs to catch the player. Eventually he catches up to the elevator and puts his hands on the player because he is pissed.

(+1)

love ur headcanon tbh

(+1)

That’s actually a really good (and funny) theory ;)

THE JUMPSCARE WAS SO SILLY BUT IT GOT ME HAHAHSHAHA

p: amazing game i love it

(+1)

Happy that you liked it and had a little scare there!

(+1)

(+1)

No problem!

(+2)

scary

Thanks for playing!

(+1)

Short but pretty good! The last floor totally didn't jump me. Made a video on it.

(+1)

Nice video, had a laugh with your commentary; thank you for the support!

(+1)

I did enjoy that the game was mostly tension building instead of in your face scares. I just wish there was one more event that happened. I think that would have added so much.

Thank you for the feedback! We‘ll work on incorporating more events on our upcoming game. And thanks for playing!

(+1)

Not bad!

Nice video! Thanks for playing.

(+1)

great game

Thanks for playing!

(+1)

this game does a great job building the atmosphere & a feeling of helplessness. Really enjoyable short horror game!

(+1)

Loved the video! Thanks for playing.

(+1)

I enjoyed your game on streaming before playing this thumbnails game! It was short but fun to find that guy on many floors!

Thank you for playing! Glad you liked it.

(+1)

Potentially great, although it does need something more.

As per request, I did check out this great game. I was unaware that you had the different publishing team, because I do follow your page, where you originally posted "Peter's House". Nevertheless, here is the review - the game is great. It has all the right details to be better, definitely. I liked the ambience, overall look, sound design, but again, it lacked some more suspense, events, maybe notes. Now, I won't directly compare this to "Peter's House", but you definitely had something unique going with it and I do want to see it more.

Wish all the best with future developments. Cheers!

Thank you for the feedback Niven, that means a lot. We’ll definitely take it into account for future releases. And again, thank you for the support!

Really creepy game for how simple it is! Every single hallway I expected something to start running at me lol. Nice work 👍

Loved the video, glad you liked it!

Hi there, I am DragonExplosion and I am a Youtuber. If you like my videos, please leave a like and subscribe at my channel.

This was a short and simple horror game about getting on an elevator to the main character's final destination. The amount of suspense created by the elevator doors opening at random floors without anyone entering the lift is insane as I felt as though something could run from the end of the corridor all the way into the lift if I did not manage to close the door in time. Moreover, the dark mood and atmosphere was well-created through narrow hallways, the good use of lighting and the elevator doors. Nice jumpscare as well XD!

Thank you for reading my comment and I wish you good luck in your future endeavours.

That was a great read, and nice video! Thank you for playing, glad you liked it.

(+1)

I loved the sound design of this game! Great game.

Thank you for the support!

(+1)

The game kept me in suspense. Good game

Thank you for playing!

(+1)

The game itself being a short experience makes it really mesmerizing at first, since it's a one time experience for literally 4 minutes. The sound design was really well made, the graphics are really nice in my opinion being a "retro-horror" makes the experience more terrifying and engaging to the player. Really looking for the next game you guys are making!!!

Glad you liked! Thanks for playing and for your support!

(+2)

Closing Doors is a simple and short experience, yet thrilling and compelling! It has a beautiful retro aesthetic and plays like an interactive movie. Eager to play more from the studio!

Thanks for playing and for your support!
